Please pray guys.
I woke up 2 days ago struggling to breathe and have spent the last two days running around to various hospitals and labs etc. trying to fid out what’s going on. The Dr.’s have ruled out Pneumonia but there is a definite infection in my lungs that they can’t identify and they are concerned about my heart.
Part of the problem with getting a diagnosis is there isn’t good health care here and most of the hospitals and their equipment got smashed in the earthquake.
Please pray fr healing first of all and that I will be able to find out what is wrong and they can treat it here before I come home. I do not have health insurance in the states and I can only imagine what the costs will be.
Our staff, my translators and my team are taking good care of me. I don’t feel so bad other than having difficulty breathing but that isn’t too bad most of the time.
I don’t know if I will be able to update again anytime soon. We have not had electricity for a while. It was a blessing that it came on as I was leaving the hospital. (staff called to tell us)
In the meantime please just pray.

When i was down there the University of Miami had a hospital down near the airport I do believe. Don’t know if you’ve been there or not. U Miami still says they are doing haiti relief so they should be around.

Toya.. Your emails keep bouncing back. Tried skype but can’t reach you. I have a pulmonologist ready to see you when you reach the states (unless God heals you 1st 🙂 ). I also have someone who can get you into see docs and have testing at little or no charge. All will be taken care of.. I just need to know when you’re coming home and a few more details.
