My last blog was so long I decided to compose a shorter one simply for prayer requests and some needs.

Thank you to all of you who read this blog, pray for me an take the time to send messages of encouragement. You will never know how much it means to me. We all lead hectic lives and it is a huge blessing to know that people are thinking about you while you are “out of sight,” but hopefully not out of mind.

Prayers:
  • participants coming from all over the U.S. and Canada. Their hearts are broken when they come and we want the Lord’s will to be done in their lives. I don’t want them to be so broken with all they see that they don’t function properly and miss what the Lord has brought them here for.
  • Wisdom and Clarity in all that I do
  • Stamina and strength to continue.  I am coming up on 3 straight weeks of leading trips. This is an awesome opportunity but can be mentally, emotionally and physically exhausting.
  • I have to make some major decisions about my future soon
  • Possibility of me staying in Haiti another month
  • Staff here – illness, fear and doubt are trying to creep in
  • We are in need of more support staff to help lead trips
  • We are in desperate need of a diesel mechanic or two to come to help work on vehicles and/or bring parts from the U.S. that we can’t find here.

Needs/Wish List

  1. Hymnal – This is a wish but Hymns are the main songs sung in church here. I know many first verses of hymns but the Haitian people generally sing all verses in a song. It is great to be able to sing in English while the church sings in Creole. It is also a wonderful way to be able to communicate beyond the language barrier. If yo can send a hymnal please send it to our AIM office to the attention of Tonya Norman. put a note inside saying it’s for me in Haiti. She is coming down next Wed. and can bring it with her. (Adventures In Missions – 6000 Wellspring Trail. Gainesville, Ga 30506)
  2. Finances,  I need to raise an additional $1,000 to cover expenses at home while I am in Haiti.

Blessings to all of you!!
