Last weekend I was priviliged to be a part of a spiritual retreat that took place here in our Training Center.
A wonderful group of students from Georgia Southern University came to seek more of the Lord and to delve deeper into their relationships with God.
What a joy it was to see a group of young people hungry for more of Jesus. We spent some time discussing listening prayer, hearing the voice of the Lord, allowing the Holy Spirit to have more control of your life, and answering many of the general questions that some of the participants had. The girls learned about seeing themselves the way God sees them and discovered their beauty from within. Everyone participated in a cross walk to lay down some of the burdens they were carrying.
It was a gorious weekend. We had a"blizzard" while the kids were here and they had a good time with the snow.
At the end of my trips I usually have a midnight party. I was sitting in a chair minding my own business when the girls pushed me on to our make shift dance floor and danced all around me.
It was a blessing to hear that some of the kids heard God for the first time. Some got more clarity for the direction of their lives and some simply fell more in love with God. Freedom and Victory were general themes as the kids were leaving. I love it when God shows up!
I was grateful to be a part of it. Through serving them, my joy was fullfilled! God is so good!
Almost the whole gang!

Winter outside of our Training Center at night. God's Glorious Creation!!!
If you were visiting Rozetta, You'd see LOTS of snow. The theme of your retreat parallels some of the Bible study doing now at Rozetta, "Experiencing God". Missed the 1st week last week due to bad road conditions. Very excited about it and with Jim and Missy leading it, makes even more better. God Bless ( and He does), Latoya. Look forward to these updates
